Kindle Fire Supported!
Yes you can listen on your kindle fire if you follow the steps below.
- Go to the kindle app store and download “wimamp”, its free.
- Launch winamp
- Click on “shoutcast”
- In the search bar at the top type in Chillax FM and search it.
- Click on Chillax FM after the search finds it and start listening.
Can’t hear anything? Do you see a play or a pause button? You want to see the pause button because that means its playing, click on the gear icon in the top right of your kindle fire (the options). Go to volume and adjust it. You should hear it now.

New mobile listening options coming.
It has come to my attention that the mobile listening does not work for every phone. While i have an iphone clicking the play button on the mobile version of the site works just fine, my friend has an LG something or other. The mobile version of the website is displayed just fine however clicking play yields 0 results. We are currently working on a streaming option guaranteed to work on all phones.

Just Chillax!
After some careful thought i decided that the station name should be changed to better reflect the station theme. According to urban dictionary the term “Chillax” is a mix between “chill out” & “relax”. Since we pride ourselves on providing the late night study vibe we thought this was an appropriate name. Not only is the music chillaxing but if your under a lot of stress with your school work then you really need to chillax!
So welcome to the new Chillax FM. Providing you with the chillaxing late night study vibe!
Upgrades!
Being a student means being on a budget, so you must cut corner where you can. I cut some corners with this radio station, it was cheaper to broadcast at a lower quality. With anything in you life you get what you pay for. I didn’t think it mattered much but the poor quality finally got to me and i realized if it bothered me then it must bother others, if i’m going to do this i want people to tune in.
So after doing some upgrades today we are now streaming at more then 3X the quality it was before. This also means more money so now more then ever if you like the radio and like what you hear then please donate whatever you can. Click the donate button on the left sidebar if you feel generous. (note: mobile users don’t see the sidebar.)
